The Law is on your side
The Federal Government enacted the ADA in 1990 to protect disabled persons including their Service Dogs. This page is designed to assist in informing Service Dog users of their rights.
2010 ADA Changes - In short, the ADA now defines a Service Animal as only a dog, with a
provision allowing miniture horses; if their size/weight can be accomodated. This closes the loop-hole that
allowed: snakes, rabbits, cats, birds, monkeys, pigs, and other wild or farm animals to be claimed as service
dogs. The FHA still recognozies other animals as ESA's, Emotional Support Animals, for in-home use.

Doctors Offices and their owners may want to read this since you may see it at your door during an incident.
